Isiolo - Moyale - Marsabit - Nanyuki - Meru In the morning 13.06.05 I secured a place in a Matatu after Nanyuki drove myself and where I also equal my backpack stowed away. Around midnight a plank bed car, which was already full actually, carried me forward. The plank bed car had loaded three spare tires, on which already nine persons positioned their feet. |

It drove beyond Marsabit until Moyale a distance from approx. 520 km. It was a happy circumstance to take me into account Marsabit compelled on my back route. As most Kenianer in north Kenya travel, visited I on a round trip the cities:
Mombasa, Nairobi, Isiolo, Wajir, El Wak, Mandera, Garissa and Narok.

The hotel did not change in the last 5 years. The hotel leader was still the same. To 30.11.2010 drives the people from the German blind welfare organization to the school administrative board from Isiolo. I got an honour place in front with the driver, for which I thank you again completely cordially on this way. About the arrangements accomplished in a cordial atmosphere, I could not unfortunately understand anything for lack of missing English knowledge. Afterwards the trip continued to go to a school in a more remote part of Isiolo. In this school with the assistance of the German blind welfare organization two new buildings were established and equipped technically in such a way these that the school enterprise for blind children is made possible. The school is on an extensively fenced area, which is to hold rivaling trunks to shoot with their arguments at the pupils. |

One had prepared much for the festive inauguration of the new buildings. First naturally the inspection of the new buildings took place.
